Pair of Antique Crown Derby Cabinet Plates, Art Nouveau Circa 1890

Description

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1890.  The plates measure 8 ¾ inches in diameter.  The decoration was Asian inspired but executed in art nouveau style.  The ground color is salmon pink.  It is hand decorated with gold and silver enamels.  You can feel all of the designs with your fingertips.  All of the decoration is outlined with raised and beaded gold.  #541
