    Description

Rare Pair of Early Antique Deerskin Young Child's Native American Moccasins
    DESCRIPTION:
Scans show them all.....made of beautiful deerskin. Made for a child. Measures about 6 1/2" long. Open tongue with one lace and nice fringe around edges, as shown.
They are in excellent condition and the deerskin is very pliable. Dearskin soles show use of wear, as do the uppers, that have some form to them. Would make a great gift  or a nice display item for the discerning collector. Would look great on display or in a shadow box.
These could have been used by a young native American. Could also have been made to sell as souvenirs to sell to tourists. IN EITHER CASE THEY ARE FAIRLY OLD, I BELIEVE AT LEAST 90-100 YEARS, AND THEY APPEAR TO BE MADE BY AN ACTUAL NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBESMAN. They have a great look, especially considering their small size for a young child, possibly aged about 7 to 9 years old.
THESE ARE A VERY UNUSUAL ITEM, AND YOU WILL NOT SEE SOMETHING LIKE IT FOR SALE OFTEN. I also have an early antique deerskin child's vest that came with them, also listed on ebay right now.
